| Jason's love of music began when he was nine years old and started violin lessons. He would disappear into his room to practice every day after school — never needing to be told to do so. The screeching sounds of a beginner soon turned to beautiful, melodic tones, and his love of music continued to grow. At the age of 18 Jason learned the value of marketing his talents, to speak up, and to be willing to perform at anytime — even though he then had only two songs in his repertoire! While working a gig in New York City for a major US corporation, one evening during a dinner break at Sardi's, he mustered up his courage and asked the maitre'd if he might be allowed to stroll about the restaurant playing some songs on his violin. The maitre'd explained that normally this would not be permitted , but then — sensing the sincerity of this energetic young man — he gave him a break. Jason strolled around Sardi's playing Ave Maria and the theme from Dr. Zhivago over and over for about 15 minutes. Everyone in the place loved the music, and applauded enthusiatically as he visited the tables. Some people even gave him tips. He was a hit — and definitely on his way to becoming a much-sought-after entertainer! Musical Selections Any event is enhanced by Jason playing his violin.
